Kia’s dashboard symbols are all color coded just like a traffic light.

- Green lights simply signal the status of a feature or element of the car.
Red
Red warning lights are an indication of a serious problem that can carry long-term consequences if not addressed in a timely manner. Anytime you see a red warning light, it’s advised to take your Kia to an authorized Kia service center at your earliest convenience.

- Check engine light
- Low battery warning
- High temperature warning
- Engine oil pressure warning
- Seat belt warning
Yellow
A yellow light signals a potential safety concern. If you see a yellow light, exercise caution for the remainder of your drive and try to address the problem before driving much further.

Green
